How to Get to the A7 Exit from Every Major Line

Directions from Hachiko Square

  1. Stand in front of the Hachiko statue.
  2. Cross the rightmost crosswalk of the Scramble Crossing.
  3. After crossing, you’ll see two underground entrances directly in front of you. The one on the left is A7a, and the one on the right is A7b.

Directions from JR Lines (Yamanote, Shonan-Shinjuku, etc.)

  1. Exit through the Hachiko Exit.
  2. Once outside, you will be in the Hachiko Square.
  3. From here, follow the directions for “From Hachiko Square” above.

Directions from Hanzomon and Den-en-toshi Lines

  1. Exit through the Hachiko Gate (towards the Hachiko statue). Be careful, there’s another gate on the opposite side.
  2. Turn left immediately after the gate and take the escalator or stairs up.
  3. On the next floor, turn left again. The stairs in front of you lead to the A7 Exit: the left staircase is A7a, and the right is A7b.

Directions from Toyoko and Fukutoshin Lines

  1. Exit through the Hachiko Gate (towards the Hachiko statue). Make sure you’re on the correct side, as there are two Hachiko Gates.
  2. Turn left immediately after the gate and take the escalator or stairs up.
  3. On the next floor, turn left again. The stairs in front of you lead to the A7 Exit: the left staircase is A7a, and the right is A7b.

Directions from Inokashira Line

  1. Exit through the Chuo Gate (Central Exit).
  2. After the gate, take the escalator down to the ground floor.
  3. Cross the crosswalk in front of you and turn left. This will lead you to Hachiko Square.
  4. From here, follow the directions for “From Hachiko Square” above.

Directions from Ginza Line

The Ginza Line is the furthest from the A7 Exit.

  1. Exit through the gate on the Scramble Square side.
  2. Turn right after exiting the gate and follow the passage.
  3. Turn left into a different passageway and walk straight for about 30 seconds.
  4. Take the escalator down to the second floor.
  5. Turn right and take another escalator down to the ground floor.
  6. Turn right immediately and walk toward the Miyamasuzaka-shita intersection.
  7. Before the intersection, enter the building on your left through the JR Miyamasuzaka Exit.
  8. Walk straight through the building to the Hachiko Exit on the other side.
  9. Once outside, follow the directions for “From Hachiko Square” above.
