TOHO Cinemas Shibuya is located near Shibuya 109. If you’re coming from the underground passages, aim for “Exit A1”, which directly connects to the Shibuya Cine Tower building where TOHO Cinemas Shibuya is located.

How to Get to TOHO Cinemas Shibuya from Shibuya Station ① JR Lines

For JR Lines, use the Hachiko Exit.

  1. After exiting the JR “Hachiko Ticket Gate”, go outside through the nearby “Hachiko Exit”.
  2. Once you’re out of the Hachiko Exit, walk straight ahead, and you’ll reach the “Scramble Crossing”.
  3. You’ll see a crosswalk diagonally to your right leading to Starbucks. Cross the crosswalk one to the left of that one.
  4. After crossing the crosswalk, continue straight on that street. You’ll see Shibuya 109 directly in front of you.
  5. With Shibuya 109 on your right, cross the next crosswalk straight ahead. The Shibuya Cine Tower, home to TOHO Cinemas, will be on your left. The entrance to Shibuya Cine Tower has a large sign that clearly reads “TOHO CINEMAS”.

How to Get to TOHO Cinemas Shibuya from Shibuya Station ② Hanzomon Line / Den-en-toshi Line

From the Hanzomon Line and Den-en-toshi Line, you can go directly to Shibuya Cine Tower (where TOHO Cinemas Shibuya is located) via the underground passage. After exiting the Dogenzaka Ticket Gate, head for “Exit A1”.

  1. First, exit from the “Dogenzaka Ticket Gate”.
  2. Upon exiting the改札, you’ll see escalators and stairs directly in front of you. Go up one level to B1F.
  3. Once you reach B1F, there will be a yellow sign in front of you indicating “Exit A1”. Follow it towards Exit A1.
  4. Exit A1 is at the far left end of the underground passage, and it leads directly into the Shibuya Cine Tower, home to TOHO Cinemas Shibuya. Go up the escalator ahead, and you’ll emerge at the ground floor entrance. Since it’s a direct underground connection from the Hanzomon Line and Den-en-toshi Line, you can reach it from the platform in just a few minutes.

How to Get to TOHO Cinemas Shibuya from Shibuya Station ③ Tokyu Toyoko Line / Fukutoshin Line

From the Tokyu Toyoko Line and Fukutoshin Line, you can also go directly to Shibuya Cine Tower (where TOHO Cinemas Shibuya is located) via the underground passage. After exiting the Dogenzaka Ticket Gate, head for “Exit A1”.

  1. First, exit from the “Dogenzaka Ticket Gate”.
  2. Upon exiting the改札, you’ll see escalators and stairs directly in front of you. Go up one level to B1F.
  3. Once you reach B1F, there will be a yellow sign in front of you indicating “Exit A1”. Follow it towards Exit A1.
  4. Exit A1 is at the far left end of the underground passage, and it leads directly into the Shibuya Cine Tower, home to TOHO Cinemas Shibuya. How to Get to TOHO Cinemas Shibuya from Shibuya Station ④ Inokashira Line

From the Inokashira Line, exit from the ticket gate indicated by a yellow sign that says “Exit (Central Gate)”.

  1. First, exit from the “Central Gate”.
  2. After exiting the ticket gate, there’s an escalator diagonally to your left. Take it down to the ground level.
  3. Once you get off the escalator, immediately turn left. You’ll see a pachinko parlor called “ESPACE” diagonally to your left. Take the road to its left.
  4. At the next T-junction, turn right. You’ll see Shibuya 109 directly in front of you.
  5. Continue straight, and you’ll come out onto the street where Shibuya 109 is located.
  6. Turn left there, and walk a short distance. The Shibuya Cine Tower, home to TOHO Cinemas Shibuya, will be on your left. The entrance to Shibuya Cine Tower has a large sign that clearly reads “TOHO CINEMAS”.

How to Get to TOHO Cinemas Shibuya from Shibuya Station ⑤ Ginza Line

From the Ginza Line, exit from the ticket gate that leads towards “Shibuya Scramble Square”.

  1. From the Ginza Line platform, first head towards the “Shibuya Scramble Square” ticket gate. (Be careful, as there’s another ticket gate on the opposite side.)
  2. After exiting the ticket gate, there are ticket machines to your left, but take the passage to their right.
  3. Once you enter the passage, immediately turn left and continue straight along the path.
  4. After walking for about 30 seconds, you’ll find an escalator. Take it down.
  5. When you get off the escalator, you’ll still be on the 2nd floor. There’s another escalator immediately to your right that goes further down. Take it.
  6. Once you get off this escalator, you’ll be on the ground level. Immediately turn right.
  7. Walk a short distance, and you’ll see the “Miyamasuzaka-shita Intersection” straight ahead. To your left, just before the intersection, is the JR “Miyamasuzaka Exit”. Enter the building there.
  8. Continue straight through the building, and you’ll reach the opposite exit, the “Hachiko Exit”. Go outside from there.
  9. Once you’re out of the Hachiko Exit, walk straight ahead, and you’ll reach the “Scramble Crossing”.
  10. You’ll see a crosswalk diagonally to your right leading to Starbucks. Cross the crosswalk one to the left of that one.
  11. After crossing the crosswalk, continue straight on that street. You’ll see Shibuya 109 directly in front of you.
  12. With Shibuya 109 on your right, cross the next crosswalk straight ahead. The Shibuya Cine Tower, home to TOHO Cinemas Shibuya, will be on your left. The entrance to Shibuya Cine Tower has a large sign that clearly reads “TOHO CINEMAS”.
