Tickets for Elementary School Children and Younger: Purchase at the Counter! Available Even When Sold Out Online

While tickets for elementary school students (6-11 years old) can now be purchased online, free tickets for children aged 5 and under cannot be reserved in advance online. You’ll need to go to the Shibuya Sky ticket counter to receive them.

This means you can’t reserve tickets for children aged 5 and under, but don’t worry! Even if the adult tickets for your desired time slot are sold out, children accompanied by an adult (or a ticket holder aged 12 and over) can still purchase (or receive free) their tickets at the counter on the day of your visit. So, if adults or high school/junior high students (12 years and over) have secured their tickets, elementary school children and younger can generally enter Shibuya Sky at any time.

If Shibuya Sky Tickets Are Sold Out Online, Are Same-Day Tickets Available?

Shibuya Sky tickets are sold both online and at the counter, and these systems are linked in real-time. Therefore, if a specific date and time slot is sold out online, same-day tickets at the counter will generally also be unavailable.

However, if there are cancellations, tickets may become available again online. If your desired time slot is sold out, continuously checking the official website’s ticket page might allow you to purchase tickets.

How to Book Shibuya Sky Tickets

It’s highly recommended to purchase your Shibuya Sky tickets online in advance with a specific date and time slot. Due to its consistent popularity, buying tickets at the counter on the day of your visit carries the risk of not being able to enter at your preferred time.
